The majority of the animals Animal Rescue of Illinois rescues and makes available for adoption were in city or county pounds that practice high rates of euthanasia.

Due to the vast amount of surplus, discarded and displaced pets, the animals would have been put to death by lethal injection or gas chamber before the week was out. Please help us to save at least one.....

Animal Rescue of Illinois depends exclusively on the support of foster homes in order to enable us to rescue valued lives from their horrible fate.

If you have a little extra space, time or love, please consider becoming a much needed foster home today!
